A term which is acronym for light amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Laser is generally termed as a tool or apparatus which produces unified light waves. These light waves can be controlled in an exact manner, can be focused and emissions can be made powerful according to the desire. The basic properties of laser light are that they can be used to treat skin tumors without affecting any healthy skin tissue of human body. Laser light has various properties. These properties make laser light chromatic. The term chromatic means that he red laser beam has only red light and so on. Laser is coherent in nature and has the facility of transmitting it to a far off distance without spreading the beam. The power of laser beam can be focus on a small area. In our day to day life, we come across sunlight, electric light or candle light which are in coherent in nature. This jumbles various wave length and brightness thereby making steady light emissions in every correct direction. The scientific principle says that producing a coherent beam requires original light has to be coherent. This principle has its basis in laser light. During early phase, the laser light was using ruby crystals which were not powerful. They were expensive too. Another thing, there ruby crystals were unwieldy also.
